I had a fairly tame weekend to be honest, I have been a terrible friend and bailed on EVERYONE because learning to drive is hard on the brain.
Driving lessons are one of the most stressful things I have ever done, and I can’t really comprehend how stressed they make me, especially since I am one who doesn’t stress out, ever. It’s mostly killing my brain.
Anyway, I digress. I have learned to cook spaghetti this weekend, but with a courgette instead of pasta, and it was DELICIOUS. You don’t even know!
Although today I went a bit crazy, and after meeting my best friend (who I never see, as she lives out of town) for brunch – sweet potato pancakes from the Diner was what we both ate, with a side of sweet potato fries each – totally sweet potato obsessed!
After seeing her off, I popped into Kiko, who are selling lipliners for £1! I picked those up, with a couple of other bits (the make up brush abobe, and another orange-red lipstick)
Most of my crazy spend went on a hair dye stripper, which I have done and it feels weird being back to semi blonde again! I saw these hair dyes by Bleach, and from results photos they look A-M-AZING
The packaging is insanely cute, I do love that whole ‘medicine style’ bottle packaging.
I picked up a little travel pack of dyes instead of opting for a huge bottle, and I had two options, one was a mish mash of sea greens and blues or there was this one – in pink hues (the bright pink not pictured), I am OBSESSED with that violet one, so gonna give it a go on Thursday or Friday next week after using the dye stripping shampoo on my hair a little more.
The great thing about these dyes is they only last 2-10 washes, so if you’re unsure about taking the plunge, or you’ve got a holiday planned but fancy a different look but don’t want to wholly commit, these are perfect.
(To add, these dyes are really only designed for people with white blonde hair, I’m fairly blonde and I know it won’t go 100% violet, but look like more of a wash, brunettes – not one for you guys this time I’m afraid!).
I’ll keep y’all posted on the progress!
In the meantime, don’t forget about my giveaway!
