Disclaimer: Muji is not cheap, all of their items are gorgeous and well made, but they are usually somewhat investment buys (especially the acrylic storage)
Muji have a great section just dedicated to travel, so I picked up a few things to help make my packing and plane journey so much easier.
The first thing I picked up was this:
This eyemask is made of the SOFTEST jersey material. It’s so lovely, I’m actually excited to sleep on the plane now. They do a similar mask for £13 so to find this one for £5 was insane.
I also grabbed a packet of their earplugs, as they come in a case and fit nicely into the drawstring bag that came with the mask. (You can pick up a multipack of earplugs – good for gigs and flying, in Boots for half the price). I liked that they came in a little case.
I’ll do a proper post of the stuff I collected when it gets round to the proper packing side of things, but I really wanted to share the eyemask. They also do travel slippers and an inflatable pillow in the same range and print, which was slightly tempting. However, I am adverse to buying inflatable pillows on planes, as they more often than not deflate whilst sleeping.
I am actually going to take a pillow and blanket of my own on the plane so I can get as cosy as possible. (I was given a ‘clean’ blanket on a plane once, and it was unwashed and covered in sick, so I am slightly afraid of plane ones). If you have any links to cute blankets/pillows, let me know in the comments below 🙂
