My hero travel items #5

It’s been a while since I posted one of these, and since then, I’ve been to Wales, Norway, Brighton, China (3 hour layovers count, okay?) and of course, Australia. One of my recent finds has been ideal for travel, and I urge all of you to pop it into your carry on, as it really made a difference to my skin. (Regular readers may be shocked to find I have replaced my beloved Soap and Glory eye cream)

The ‘Garnier – BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector Eye Roll-On in Light’ (quite a mouthful), is a tiny little bottle of joy for anyone traveling long haul or those who work long shifts.

I am lucky to have normal skin, but with the odd blemish, so most creams usually sit well with me.

It’s only 7ml, which at first doesn’t seem like much, but it will last you ages, and the small packaging means you can stuff your carry on liquids bag with even more stuff. That has to be a bonus, right?

My favourite thing about this product is the metal roller ball, it really woke up my tired eyes mid flight. Now, I was applying my moisturiser every two hours, I obviously wouldn’t apply this as liberally, (it’s tinted and the coverage is too thick).

As well as the metal roller, Garnier claim that this cream ‘hydrates’ so I was instantly sold.  Although it’s not cheap, I’d probably consider it at the lower end of mid priced skincare. You’ll find most drugstores will have an offer on Garnier quite frequently, so I am sure you will be able to pick this up on the cheap.

As a side note, I should point out this isn’t a replacement for my concealer, I apply this after my moisturiser and under my foundation, as I still like a little bit of coverage.

It’s definitely going to be a staple in my travel bag from now on, no matter how long the journey.

Have you tried this cream? Do you have any must have skin care in your make up bag that works for both travel and every day use?
